Beer + Yoga, Hosted By Katie’s of Smithtown
May 20, 2017 @ 12:00 pm - 1:30 pm$20
Namaste At The Bar!
We’ve done Beer + Yoga at only breweries at this point, but now we’re coming to bars! But that doesn’t mean our mission of supporting local craft beer goes away… in fact we require the bar to have at least 4 taps of local beer for us. So we are supporting local beer in a a whole new way.
Our very first Beer + Yoga bar event is at Katie’s of Smithtown. You may have heard of it… because it’s ummm haunted.
Originating in the west coast, Beer and Yoga, has swept all over the country, but no one else has made drinking beer part of the class- until now! We’ve designed a fun and approachable yoga class that incorporates drinking your beer into our poses. From “Drunken Warrior” to “Earn Your Beer” pose, you’ll be challenged not just to keep your balance, but not to spill a drop!
Can I Do This Yoga Class With No Experience?
Yes, yes and YES! This class welcomes beginners with open arms! From totally inflexible to a yoga rock star- you’ll enjoy this class!
What Kinda Of Yoga Class Is This?
Rose, our Chief Yoga Officer, has a flow style of yoga. She’s incorporated beer into some of the best yoga poses you already know… Drunken warrior anyone?
What Else Do I Get With My Ticket?
I’m glad you asked! No “Beer + Yoga” event would be complete without a beer! So you get a full hour of yoga + a full pint of local craft beer!!
What Should I Bring?
Bring your own yoga mat, we may have extra, but not guaranteed. Oh and bring yourself!
How Can I Get There?
No car? The brewery is right down the steps from the Smithtown Train Station.
Driving? Katie’s is right on Main Street in Smithtown (Rt. 25) located right next to the Smithtown Train Station.
