Beer with Yoga + Tacos
April 6, 2019 @ 11:30 am - 1:00 pm$25
Join Beer Fit Club at Hale’s Ale’s for another yoga with beer, and stay for happy hour prices on El Camion’s legendary Mexican food afterward! Hales is going to reserve a special section of the restaurant and bar for our mingling, munching, and beer-fit socializing pleasure. Yoga with beer, followed by Mexican food? NamastYES.
About Hale’s Ales: This one of the longest-running breweries in Washington– which is saying something in a State that sprouts new breweries faster than daffodils in Spring! From their legendary Cream Ale to their taproom-only barrel-aged wonders, their beer menu still stands apart from the crowd. They’re also host to El Camion’s food truck headquarters, regarding as one of the most legitimate Mexican food outposts in the Pacific Northwest.
About Beer Fit Club: Beer Fit Club was created to make fitness fun and accessible by hosting pop-up fitness classes at local breweries. Our founder and CEO, Sophia Del Gigante, created these events in the NY metro area to offer an incentive to get people to work out, and create a community of like-minded people. Our flagship class was Beer + Yoga and we were the first to add the pint to the practice. We’ve been featured on Insider Fitness, the cover of the Wall Street Journal, Fox & Friends, and more. Since then, we’ve grown, hosting classes in other cities throughout the country and creating more classes such as Brewery Bootcamp and Mindful Pintfull. If you love beer and care about your health, you’ve found your tribe, the #BeerFits. 🙂
Can I do this class with no experience?
Yes, yes and YES! Whether you’re new to drinking beer or to drinking beer while working out, we welcome beginners from every side of the tracks.
What can I expect from this class?
Emily Stewart teaches a fluid, athletic, all-levels welcome yoga class where you’ll laugh, sweat, and relax in equal amounts. She’s yet to find a yoga who didn’t leave with a smile on their face and bounce in their step.
What is included in my ticket?
Your ticket includes 60 minutes of mindful exercise and the pint of beer you’ll drink throughout the class.
What should I bring?
Bring your own yoga mat! We will have some available on a first-come, first-serve basis.
How Can I Get There?
No car? If it’s not raining, walk to Hale’s via the Burke Gilman Trail. You’ll see signs urging “thirsty bikers” to pop in for a pint! The nearest bus stop is Leary Way NW & NW 43rd Street, accessible from North and South bus numbers 28, 40.
Driving? The easiest way to access Hale’s via car is taking Aurora or Fremont Avenue to N 39th Street, then going West. You’ll hit the diagonal Leary Way NW. Hale’s is a brightly-hued red building on your left, just off the Burke Gilman Trail.
