Barre at the Bar at 1940’s Brewing Company
August 31 @ 10:45 am - 12:00 pm$25
About this Event
We’re bringing a new event to one of our favorite breweries, 1940’s Brewing Company! If you haven’t been there yet, it’s an awesome space and there are so many different kinds of beer for any palate. Barre at the Bar combines aerobics with arm, booty, legs, and core strengthening along with a yoga stretch! Build lean muscles while quenching your thirst with a pint of 1940′ beer. Please bring a mat for floor exercises and be prepared to feel the burn!
About Beer Fit Club
Beer Fit Club was created to make fitness fun and accessible by hosting pop-up fitness classes at local breweries. Our founder and CEO, Sophia Del Gigante, created these events in the NY metro area to offer an incentive to get people to work out, and create a community of like-minded people. Our flagship class was Beer + Yoga and we were the first to add the pint to the practice. We’ve been featured on Insider Fitness, the cover of the Wall Street Journal, Fox & Friends, and more. Since then, we’ve grown, hosting classes in other cities throughout the country and creating more classes such as Brewery Bootcamp and Mindful Pintfull. If you love beer and care about your health, you’ve found your tribe, the #BeerFits. 🙂
Can I do this class with no experience?
Yes, yes and YES! Whether you’re new to drinking beer or to drinking beer while working out, we welcome beginners from every side of the tracks.
What is included in my ticket?
Your ticket includes 60 minutes of mindful exercise and the local pint of beer you’ll drink throughout the class.
What should I bring?
Bring your own yoga mat! We may have extra, but it’s not guaranteed.
How can I get there?
1940’s is conveniently located on Lincoln Ave just off of Veterans Hwy (454) on the north side.
Take the LIRR to Ronkonkoma’s Train station. The brewery is a walk from the train or a cheap Uber ride.
