Sore Thumb is a Double IPA made by one of my favorite local breweries, Destination Unknown Beer Company aka DUBCO. This local double IPA is both sweet and dank. Sore Thumb has a very earthy herbal flavor coupled with sweetness. It packs some serious ABV at 8.2%. You won’t be drinking too many of these, but you will be loving sipping it slowly, especially on the beach like I did.
I totally recommend a cliff top view of the long island sound to be paired with this excellent beer.
DUBCO is located in Bay Shore, NY and they just started canning their beers so you can find this beer at many beverage centers on Long Island. I recommend visiting the tasting room since it’s a great place to hang out. If you like playing board games they have a monthly game night.
